Meet Lauri Koo

While growing up in the Midwest I had always loved coloring with crayons and markers and would curiously watch my mother enjoying her oil paint-by-numbers. In grade school I entered a drawing into a local fair and won first place and then life happened and sent me into many directions.

Just a few years ago I had this deep desire to paint and then my entire world opened up and have been learning, creating and exploring ever since. I also have a great passion of taking photographs which has been such a great inspiration for painting.

Nature is my favorite subject and I become lost in the awe and beauty that surrounds me, especially here in the desert. There are so many places to experience the variety of the seasons in Arizona. I am so grateful to be able to fulfill my passion of painting and photography and love sharing all the beauty of nature through my lens. Commissions are welcome as my schedule permits.
